AMG Brasil Sponsors Contest for ‘Amazônia’

EL CERRITO, Calif. — Gay production studio Athletic Model Guildis sponsoring a contest to promote the company’s upcoming release of a two-disc set titled “Amazônia: Capture” and “Amazônia: Release.” Fans are invited to visit the movie website and guess the identity of its mysterious leading man.

Produced for the AMG Brasil imprint, the “Amazônia” set is the company’s most ambitious project to date. Filmed over several days in exotic locations, the movie is the studio’s first plot-driven feature, based on the premise of an American tourist being kidnapped by natives in the Amazonian rainforest.

“This is the film I’ve been waiting to do,” Creative Director and President of Athletic Model Guild Dennis Bell said. “We brought a well-known American model with us into the rainforest, and let the Brazilians have their way with him. And our guys ate him right up. Although he is back stateside, safe and sound, we’ve got a little surprise before we let on who the lucky model was.”

Every day until Aug. 26, clues will be posted on the site hinting at the model’s identity including video clues that are downloadable, featuring scenes from the movie with the star’s face blurred out.

Fans can email in their guess and winners will be chosen the correct answers. The grand prizewinner will receive an iPhone loaded with AMG content and other winners will receive DVDs and props used in the filming of the movie.

Bell said the competition is a way to show appreciation to the fans who have made Amazônia possible.

The performer’s identity will be revealed on Aug. 27, and “Amazônia” will be available for pre-orders starting Sept. 4.

“Amazônia” is the latest in AMG Brasil’s line of videos shot in South America using tropical outdoor locations and local talent. The “Suruba” and “Carioca” series also are produced under the AMG Brasil imprint.

Several Brazilian performers that have appeared in other AMG Brasil titles are included in the cast of the movie including Lucas Ramiro, Renzo Castelli, Will Castelo, Yago Mendoça and Ricardo Onça. Newbie performers Oliver Lima, Peterson Corriera and Leandro Pitanga rounded out the roster.

“The guys that we worked with on ‘Amazônia,’ were a dream cast,” Bell said. “We had a major American actor, our favorite Brasilian models and about five guys who were just breaking their porno cherries. There’s always a chance that there will be a bad apple in the bunch, but all of these guys turned out to fit perfectly. As a result, the sex scenes are unparalleled. There’s nothing better than having a cast that really feeds off each other.”
