His responsibilities will include business development, strategic development and revenue growth initiatives for SugarDVD, Sugar Video-on-Demand and SugarCash’s Automated Store Builder program for affiliates.

But perhaps most importantly, they are the brand and technology leader, even receiving a recent endorsement from Oprah magazine.”

Medrano, 37, has a B.A. from Harvard, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. He has spent most of his career in the mainstream software-as-a-service, Internet and hosting Industries.

The last 10 years he has been general manager, vice president or founder of software and Internet companies in both Silicon Valley and Southern California. He has been a key member of executive teams that have raised over $100 million in venture capital. In the adult industry, he has served as an advisor to SugarDVD for the past year and operated an award-winning gentlemen’s club.

He also is a published author, recognized speaker and has received awards for his entrepreneurial endeavors involving technology innovation, sales and marketing.
