Vitter, a conservative Republican who was implicated in the investigation of "D.C. Madam" Deborah Jeane Palfrey last year, was elected to the Senate in 2004.
Referring to Daniels as "A Storm that’s gonna sweep Louisiana clean of corrupt politicians once and for all," the website calls her "A champion of entrepreneurism, a fighter for decency and the embodiment of pure libertarianism. Stormy Daniels will be a tireless champion for the forthright values of common sense and do-it-yourself individualism."
Although the site is unauthorized, it is enthusiastic about Daniels.
"We at the Draft Stormy campaign feel that Baton Rouge native Stormy Daniels is best suited to fulfill these duties. Stormy’s real world experience and special understanding of the economic hardships facing Louisianans and Americans make her uniquely qualified to take on the tough challenges we face. Our grass roots movement spans the political spectrum and champions Stormy’s philosophy of personal responsibility and the promotion of individual enterprise. We eschew partisanship and labels, instead judging our leaders on their integrity, character and effectiveness. By all three of these measures, Stormy Daniels stands above the rest."
A spokesperson for Wicked Pictures told XBIZ that the company was not involved with the site and it had no comment. Daniels was unavailable for comment.
