Axel Braun to BitTorrent Pirates: 'Heads Will Roll'

LOS ANGELES — Despite a setback after a federal judge quashed his company's request to subpoena BitTorrent user identities, Axel Braun says he plans to continue his legal battle against file sharers who steal his content.

"Heads will roll," Braun told XBIZ. "I said it once, and I'll say it again, Fuck 'em all.

"I didn't get into this fight thinking it was going to be an easy one, but I can assure you that I am not quitting," he said.

Last week, U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey quashed subpoenas targeting 7,097 defendants from Axel Braun Productions' suit, which alleges the John Doe defendants poached "Batman XXX: A Porn Parody."

Bailey ordered only one Doe defendant to remain in the suit.

"We already expected the judge's ruling in West Virginia, and our legal strategy is far more complex than just filing a lawsuit," Braun said.

Braun said he continues to retain the Adult Copyright Co. for his fight against "Batman XXX" pirates and that an announcement will be made in a week or two on further legal action.

"My lawyers have my absolute, 100 percent support, and we are moving forward," he said. "I will not let people steal from me. Period."
