Actor James Franco to Make Kink.com Documentary

SAN FRANCISCO — Actor James Franco will be making a documentary on Internet fetish giant Kink.com, the star revealed last night on the "Conan" TV show.

Kink.com CEO Peter Acworth told XBIZ, "Kink is very excited about the prospect of working with James Franco. The details are still being ironed out, but we're very much looking forward to it."

Franco told O'Brien about the project while promoting his new film "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."

The subject of porn came up when O'Brien asked Franco about his acting in a porn movie, which Franco dismissed. However, he admitted that he shot a personal amateur movie with his girlfriend and that he is very interested in porn.

“I’m actually making a documentary about pornography. There’s this amazing facility in San Francisco. It’s at this old armory and they do everything in house, they build their props in house, so I’m making a documentary about that,” Franco said.

Franco was spied in San Francisco while shooting the film "Cherry," co-written by adult performer Lorelei Lee fueling speculation that some scenes may have been shot at the Kink armory.

IndieWire reported that Kink performer Rain DeGrey tweeted on June 26, “Kink.com is all aflutter today because James Franco is here shooting his new movie. All these girls want to f*ck him! lol.”

The tweet was later deleted.
