Corbin Fisher Acquires Gay.xxx Domain

LAS VEGAS —Corbin Fisher announced today its acquisition of the top-level domain name, Gay.xxx.

The company said it plans to make Gay.xxx the premiere destination for gay adult content on the web and sees the domain as a unique chance to concentrate the gay audience's needs in one URL.

"I'm thrilled to announce Liberty Media Holding's acquisition of the top-level domain Gay.xxx,” said Jason Gibson, CEO of Corbin Fisher and Liberty Media Holdings, its parent company.

“We have some innovative plans for making this the one-stop web destination for all things related to gay adult entertainment."

The company said that after the success of Corbin Fisher Select, the company’s  micropayment site, it decided to bring some of the same strategic thinking to develop the Gay.xxx site as a one-stop shop for gay adult content.

"CF Select's launch totally exceeded our expectations,"  COO Brian Dunlap said. "And we feel Gay.xxx is going to be an incredible opportunity to expand the work we've done there in a way that can include any and all gay content providers.”

With the completion of its Las Vegas studio targeted for January of 2012, and the success of CF Select, the company said Corbin Fisher has extensive plans for rolling out Gay.xxx in several phases.

“Obviously, we can't say too much at this point,” Gibson said. “But if it has to do with gay sexuality — news, comics, advice, chat rooms — it belongs on Gay.xxx.”

Audiences can register now at Gay.xxx to receive email updates on news and launch information on the site.

“Just as CF Select is a game-changer for our fans, we look at gay.xxx as a game-changer for the industry and customers as a whole. We think our plans will excite people — in every way.”

Corbin Fisher is known for producing gay adult videos and products featuring 18 to 25 year old, college-age, primarily straight, American men.

In 2011, Corbin Fisher extended its reach in to the straight market with the launch of CorbinsCoeds.com, and launched CFSelect.com.
