Manwin Files More Cybersquatting Suits Over YouPorn, Tube8 Variants

LOS ANGELES — Manwin yesterday filed two additional cybersqatting suits over seven websites that use YouPorn and Tube8 variants in domain names.

The pair of suits each target 10 John Does and ask for $100,000 in damages per domain property.

Tube8.tw, You-Porn.in and YouPorxn.com were cited as cybersquatting sites in the first suit, and LikeTube8.com, LikeYouPorn.net, YouPornMovs.com and YouPornxxx.com were named in the second suit

Earlier this year, Manwin filed two other suits targeting 52 domain names that are similar to YouPorn and Tube8

Manwin said it is unaware of the true names or capacities of the Does and that all of the domain names in the suit direct users to adult-oriented content and services that directly compete with Manwin properties.

The complaints, filed at U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, seek a total of $700,000 in damages for violating the Anti-Cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act, injunctions from operating the infringing sites, transfers of the sites to Manwin and attorneys fees.
