Sascha Winkler Joins PAY4 as Managing Director

FRANKFURT — Alternative payment service provider PAY4 has tapped industry vet Sascha Winkler as managing director.

With more than 12 years in the payment industry, Winkler brings more than a decade of experience in mobile and Internet business.

Winkler started his career at a German bank with an education in IT management. As mobile applications and payments became popular in Germany, he decided to move into the mobile world.

As Internet business increasingly began complementing mobile, Winkler expanded his career in media convergence.

For several years, Winkler has continued consulting for various corporate media groups in Germany, including expanding a single alternative payment option into an established company.
Starting Jan. 1, Winkler will serve as CEO as Pay4 GmbH, Frankfurt. Winkler said his mission is to establish Pay4 as the No. 1 alternative payment service provider.

PAY4 specializes in alternative payments with a focus on on adult merchants, online dating and gaming. The company offers solutions for iPSPs within the regions of Europe, the U.S. and Canada.
