HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adam & Eve plans to “rock the boat” with its star-packed XXX parody of “The Love Boat,” set to street Sept. 24.
The film takes a spirited, sexual poke at Aaron Spelling’s classic show that ran nearly a decade, from 1977 to 1986, and featured the comedic flings of an ever-changing cruise ship community.
Director porn funny-man Will Ryder says the spoof retains the look and feel of its parent show, but allows viewers to enter the stars’ private cabins and passageways where uniforms and bathing suits are unnecessary.
"We did exactly what we've become well-known for and took a classic television show and let the characters have wild sex in a parody environment," Ryder said, adding:
"I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, because not only is it funny and sexy, it looks exactly like an episode of ‘The Love Boat’ TV show. If he were alive today, I would hope that Aaron Spelling might be happy with how this turned out."
The films features leading adult starlets Sunny Lane, Capri Cavanni, Jessa Rhodes, Penny Pax, Kendall Karson and Gia Grace. Captain Stubing, Gopher, Isaac the Bartender and Doc played by Steve Nelson, Tyler Nixon, Tee Reel and Kurt Lockwood, respectively, board the production to “sex them up.”
Adding to the extensive cast are a slew of male passengers: Evan Stone, Seth Gamble, Kevin Wang, Will Ryder, Ron Jeremy and James Bartholet and female passengers: Nikki Daniels, Lucky Star, Selma Sins, Nikki Chase and Liv Aguilera, who couple and canoodle aboard the XXX version of the Pacific Princess.
"It's our goal to make the viewer feel like they are on a big cruise ship out on the high-seas witnessing all of this comedy and sex," said co-producer Scott David of X-Play, which produced the film for Adam & Eve.
"The Love Boat promises pussy for everyone," the adapted theme song assures viewers.
