LOS ANGELES — Anikka Albrite says there’s something about the director Mason that brings out the best in her.
“With Mason, I know that whatever she puts out there is going to be really, really good,” Albrite explained. “She just brings things out of me that… I think it’s because she is who she is, not just because she’s a female.
“She understands the girls in a different way and knows what we’re going through. She’s really in tune with us, so it’s easier to do something like a ‘first’ for her. You know it’s going to be really epic no matter what it is.”

The latest star showcase from Hard X marks another special occasion for Albrite, who delivered the first double-penetration scene of her porn career in the no-holes-barred title produced and directed by Mason.
“She asked me when I’d be ready to do it and at the time it was still too early,” recalled Albrite, who did her first anal scene in the original “Anikka” released last October. “So we planned it over a couple of months and decided alright, let’s just go do this.”
Albrite turned to Mick Blue, her real-life significant other, and Erik Everhard, to do the honors in the high-stakes scene. She said she chose Everhard after studying some tape and consulting with Blue, who’s navigated his way through more than his share of d.p. assignments over the years.
“I talked with Mick about who he feels he works with the best and looked at video footage of d.p.’s he did with other people,” Albrite explained. “And I love working with Erik as well, so I knew there would be good passion and it would feel great.”
Interestingly, the Denver native Albrite revealed she experimented with a d.p. before she got into porn in 2011.
“I tried it once with my ex-boyfriend and his male roommate,” she said. “We all had too much to drink and said let’s try two penises in real life like they do in the movies. We did it for a second, but it was too weird for my ex. He didn’t really like the idea once we started. I would hardly say it was a d.p.”
There were no false starts on the set of “Anikka 2” though. Not with three consummate pros getting lubed up.
“I was definitely very nervous, I felt like it was my very first day on a porn set, like I had never done anything before,” Albrite admitted. “Leading up to it, I was like totally stoked for this. I was thinking ‘I’m ready.’ But the day of the scene my heart just started racing. I thought this is really going to happen. Whatever happens is going to be amazing. I had never really gone through with a d.p., especially with two really amazing guys who know their stuff.”
She said the guys told her to “lay back and relax, we’ll take care of it.” That’s not usually Albrite’s style.
“I feel weird if I can’t fuck back,” she said. It turns out there was no need to worry once Mason gave them the green light.
“Fireworks just went off,” Albrite said. “I felt like I just jumped out of a plane. I was feeling the rush, the endorphins. It was the most incredible feeling.
“I absolutely would love to do more d.p’s.”
Albrite said Blue actually surprised her during the scene, after he fucked her for a while.
“Then he took his shirt — we had never talked about what we were going to do — and he blindfolded me with his shirt and Erik walked into the room. And he made me suck Erik’s cock.
“It was totally unexpected, but I loved the way it all just flowed together.”
Albrite also performed her first interracial anal scene in “Anikka 2,” hand-picking Mandingo for the job.
“I love working with [Mandingo], he’s always been such a pleasure to work with,” Albrite said. “I thought if I’m going to do my first IR anal that it’s going to be a really big, massive cock. We have chemistry. I love the way he fills me up and how passionate he is. Hard X was able to make that happen and I’m really happy they did. Mandingo hasn’t really worked a lot for other people so I was hoping they’d be able to get a hold of him.”
Albrite said the scene “was really incredible.”
“I freaked out at the beginning because it had been so long since I had worked with him. The moment his cock was out, it was so much bigger than I remember it being. I thought, ‘oh my god, is it going to fit?’”
The Hard X showcase also involved a pair of three-ways with Albrite as the centerpiece: A.J. Applegate and Manuel Ferrara in one session; and Dani Daniels and Karlie Montana in the other.
While hard-charging gonzo work may be her calling card, Albrite this year also got to display some versatility in various feature roles.
In mid-October she wrapped a movie for Stormy Daniels and Wicked Pictures in which she’s part of an-all girl spy trio in the spirit of “Charlie’s Angels.” Asa Akira and Allie Haze co-star and Albrite got to bang Blue again.
The former lab technician who holds a degree in molecular biology also played the main character in the newly released “The Long Hard Ride,” a western directed by Nick Orleans for Adam & Eve.
“I play a city slicker woman that inherits her uncle’s property only to realize it’s a brothel,” Albrite explained. “So I’m fighting the town bad guy who’s trying to claim it too. They trained me on how to use the bullwhip. Instead of guns, we used bullwhips.”
After receiving training from real-life dom and whip expert, Sir Nick, Albrite enjoyed a “whip-off” with Tommy Gunn in between sex scenes with Marcus London and Maddy O’Reilly.
Then earlier this year Albrite fulfilled a fantasy when she was cast in Axel Braun’s “Sleeping Beauty XXX” for the Wicked Fairy Tales line.
“It was definitely my favorite role to play and it was my favorite fairytale growing up,” she said. “I got to act out my favorite fairytale. And I like the fact that he put a dark twist on it. It made it more challenging and I always like a challenge when I act out a role.”
Albrite worked with Michael Vegas and Stormy Daniels in separate scenes in “Sleeping Beauty.”
“Michael Vegas played the prince and Stormy played Maleficent. She cast a spell and lured me into her castle and made me have sex with her."
“It’s been a fun year,” said Albrite, who also had the lead role in Barrett Blade’s “Untamed Heart,” which was released this summer by Adam & Eve.
“I was really happy with this one as well. It was another role where I had to reach in and find a really deep part of the character. I play a woman who is engaged, but not happily engaged. And she falls in love with a biker. So there’s a whole love triangle between her and her fiancée and her boyfriend who is a biker.”
James Deen plays the fiancée and Gunn the biker.
“I was really happy Adam & Eve wanted to use me as the main character in two of their features,” Albrite said. “And with Axel, it was a lot of fun to be on his set.”
