Mile High Media Brands Earn 41 Noms From 2022 XBIZ Awards

MONTREAL — Mile High Media and its affiliated brands, O.L. Entertainment and Bellesa, have earned a combined 41 nominations from the 2022 XBIZ Awards.

These nominations also recognize the work from imprints Bellesa Films, Bellesa House, Dark X, Erotica X, Family Sinners, Hard X, Icon Male, Lesbian X, Noir Male, Sweet Sinner, Sweetheart Video and TransSensual.

"Bellesa and TransSensual led its sister studios with six nominations each, including two noms for Bellesa for 'Vignette Movie of the Year' for its star-studded releases 'First Times and Second Chances 3,' starring Abella Danger and Aidra Fox, and 'Going for It' with Lulu Chu and Vanna Bardot," a rep said. "TransSensual also received nominations for 'Trans Movie of the Year' for 'My Best Friend’s TS Sister,' and 'TS Adventures.'"

Mile High also earned a nomination in the 'Studio of the Year' category.

Gay studios Icon Male and Noir Male, the latter of which features men of color, were next with four nominations each, including three for "Gay Movie of the Year" for Icon Male’s “A Man in Uniform” and “Painful Love,” and Noir Male’s “Hardcore Hookups 2.”  

Couples' studio Erotica X received three nominations, including "Vignette Movie of the Year" for “Erotic Affairs 4,” and "Vignette Series of the Year" for “Erotic Affairs.”

Sweetheart Video also earned three nominations, including one for “The Art of Kissing" for "All-Girl Movie of the Year," pitting it against sister studio Lesbian X, which also earned a nomination in the category for its bestselling release “Lesbian Hardcore.”

Hard X earned two nominations, including "Gonzo Series of the Year" for “DP Me” series and "Best Gonzo Sex Scene" for the series' 11th chapter, “DP Me 11.”

The studios’ directors Ricky Greenwood, Mason, Jacky St. James and Mike Quasar were each nominated for "Director of the Year," while Greenwood also earned nominations for "Director of the Year — Gay" and "Director of the Year — Trans."

The 2022 XBIZ Awards will crown the best-of-the-best in adult Sunday, Jan. 9 at the historic Hollywood Palladium. Voting begins Wednesday, Nov. 24; click here for a full list of nominees.
