Voting for 8th Annual Cybersocket Awards Begins

CYBERSPACE — GLBT online portal Cybersocket has opened voting in its 8th Annual Cybersocket Web Awards. Voting will be open until December 31.

Categories and nominees can be viewed at the show’s website, where both webmasters and surfers have a chance to vote for their online favorites.

Voters are allowed to cast one vote per category, and votes submitted more than once from the same IP address will not be counted.

The winners will be announced Feb. 6 at the Cybersocket Web Awards ceremony, to be held in Hollywood, Calif., coinciding with the XBIZ Hollywood '08 Industry Conference and Awards, to be held Feb. 6-8, also in Hollywood.

The Cybersocket Web Awards show recognizes outstanding achievements in the world of queer online media and entertainment.

Additionally, Cybersocket encourages nominees and webmasters to visit the banners page of the official awards site in order to download premade banners that allow users to cast their votes.

Cybersocket said more details about the awards event will follow.
