Newcomer Missy Stone Offers Advice

LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Missy Stone just moved to Los Angeles, but she’s hardly new to the industry, and she had some advice for newcomers.

"Focus your trust on people you trusted before you entered the industry," the 20-year-old star told XBIZ. "If your mother still supports you, great – talk to her, talk to people who still see you as a person and not as the character you play in adult."

The Maryland native has been shuttling between the coasts for the last five months, getting experience in more than 30 scenes. She finally made the move to Southern California two weeks ago.

Stone has been dividing her time between Internet work and video work, appearing in scenes for Vouyer Media, Anabolic and Sin City. She's also landed a few covers, including "Who's That Girl 6," "Bring'Um Young 26" and "Bait 6."

Over the next year, Stone hopes to establish a strong network of industry connections that will lead to more work, more exposure and possible contract stardom – though for now she just wants to get a computer.

Once she acquires that key bit of technology, she'll get to work on her personal website. She's currently on the hunt for content trades and chances to shoot exclusive content for her upcoming site.

Stone praised her talent manager, Lisa Ann, who took on Stone soon after Lisa Ann's Talent Management merged with Lighthouse Talent.

"Lisa Ann is more or less a mother to me," Stone said. "She's my nurturer. She takes care of me. I have such love for her. I can tell her anything."

Until she gets her own website, Stone's official web presence remains her MySpace profile.
