‘Industry’ Gathers in West Hollywood

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gay adult performers and their admirers, as well as behind-the-scenes talent and other gay adult entertainment figures are scheduled to converge at “Industry,” a new weekly nightclub event in West Hollywood, Calif.

Publicist Jason Sechrest and performer Josh Griffin are co-producing the venture set to run every Wednesday starting this week at Numbers Bar & Restaurant.

Numbers is located at 8745 Santa Monica Blvd. Doors open at 6 p.m.

“I host a lot of local events that feature a porn performer as part of the party,” Sechrest said. “This is different because here the porn performers are the party.”

The models will be the “main attraction” rather than a sidelight. Numbers Bar & Restaurant has a history in West Hollywood that dates back before the Internet, supporting escorts and porn performers, so it’s really a perfect fit,” Sechrest said.

Models currently scheduled to christen opening night are Cameron Adams, Jeremy Bilding, Trevor Knight, Tory Mason, Tristan Mathews, Antonio Milan and Lex Sabre.

Director Chi Chi LaRue will serve as celebrity DJ.

Sechrest told XBIZ the Nov. 19 “Industry” kickoff also will serve as the official afterparty for gay porn docu series “Everything You Wanted to Know About Gay Porn Stars* (*But Were Afraid to Ask)” which will have had its red-carpet premiere elsewhere in Hollywood earlier in the evening.

The series debuts on subscription cable channel here! Networks later this month. Series creator and director John Roecker is scheduled to appear at the afterparty with cast members including Kris Anthony, Caleb Carter, Johnny Hazzard, Joey Milano, Nick Piston, Jason Ridge and Danny Vox.

“I want it to be like this every week,” Sechrest said. “That’s why we’re calling it ‘Industry’ because we want it to be the place that people in the gay entertainment world can come and make their own special, exclusive hangout; a place they know they’ll be treated like royalty and where their fans can come to meet them in person.”
