CLEARWATER, Fla. — In advance of the complete final ballot for the 2014 ED’s Annual Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards, ED Publications has announced the nominees for four feature entertainer award categories: Newcomer Entertainer of the Year, Adult Movie Entertainer of the Year, Club Favorite Entertainer of the Year and Overall Feature Entertainer of the Year.
These nominees were gathered mainly from pre-nomination votes placed at TheEDawards.com throughout the month of May.
The remaining nominees for the 2014 ED’s Awards — including adult nightclubs, club staff and the title Overall Gentlemen’s Club of the Year Award — will be announced next week, and the final ballot is set to launch online at theEDawards on Friday, June 20.
“Our four Overall Entertainer of the Year nominees represent the top touring ‘showgirl’ feature entertainers in our industry and we are looking forward to their live performances during the 17th Annual ED’s Awards Show at the House of Blues in Las Vegas,” ED Publications’ Associate Publisher Dave Manack said.
The ED’s Awards Show takes place each year during the Annual Gentlemen’s Club EXPO, also produced by ED Publications.
“With 10 nominees in each of our remaining entertainer award categories, it just goes to show how deep the current state of feature entertainment is,” Manack said. “Congratulations to all of our 2014 ED’s Entertainer Award Nominees.”
The Overall Entertainer of the Year Award and Newcomer of the Year Award will be presented during the ED’s Awards Show at the House of Blues on August 19, which signals the return of show host and comedian Ralphie May and is sponsored by Anheuser-Busch.
The Awards Show will also feature current adult film starlets as special presenters, including Lisa Ann, Tori Black, Allie Haze, Belle Knox, The Starr Sisters, Adraina Chechik and Veronica Rodriguez. Reigning ED’s Overall Feature Entertainer of the Year Christina Aguchi will also be on hand to present the Overall Feature Entertainer of the Year Award to the 2014 winner.
The Club Favorite Entertainer of the Year Award and Adult Movie Entertainer of the Year Award will be presented during a special ceremony at the 2014 Gentlemen’s Club EXPO’s Opening Night “80’s Dance Party” at the LIGHT Nightclub inside Mandalay Bay, the host convention for the EXPO.
The following feature entertainers are nominated for the 2014 Adult Movie Entertainer of the Year Award: Alexis Amore, Allie Haze, Bonnie Rotten, Dee and Michaels (duo of Sophie Dee and Gianna Michaels), Lexi Belle, Lisa Ann, Nicole Aniston, Tasha Reign, Tori Black and Veronica Rodriguez.
The following feature entertainers are nominated for the 2014 Overall Feature Entertainer of the Year Award: Lacey Rain, Roxi D’Lite, Simone Danalustrous and Tali De’Mar.
The following feature entertainers are nominated for the 2014 Newcomer Entertainer of the Year Award: Angela Sommers, Artemis Moon, Bambu Jessica, Cali Rose, Emily Marilyn, Justice, Lady Sirene, Miss Mena, Sarah Hunter and Vayda Kiss.
The following feature entertainers are nominated for the 2014 Club Favorite Entertainer of the Year Award: Darling Danika, Gia Nova, Jayden Cole, Lisa Licious, Phoenix Phires, Richelle Ryan, Shelby Doll, Suicide Sirens (group), The Evil Pin-Ups (duo of Shay Lynn & Jaded Dawn) and Viva La Muerte
The 22nd Annual Gentlemen’s Club EXPO will be held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas August 17-20.
