LFP to Distribute Final Sunset Thomas Title

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Vavoom Media has tapped LFP Video to distribute Sunset Thomas' final film, which will officially mark the adult superstar's retirement from performing.

Vavoom Vice President Kent Wallace told XBIZ that Thomas' goal for the film is to find "the perfect penis" by holding a contest to find one of her biggest fans to perform with.

"Sunset has always been a very fan-based porn star," Wallace, who also is Thomas' publicist, said. "I call her the people's porn star. She started with [Hustler/LFP founder] Larry [Flynt] 17 years ago and wanted to end with Larry and have the novel twist that she would find a fan [to do it with]."

LFP National Sales Manager David Diamond told XBIZ that he thinks Thomas' idea is a great one and looks forward to working with her again. He said he was one of the people who worked with her at VCA when she came out with "Misty Beethoven," a title that still sells phenomenally.

"She's a big name in the business," Diamond said. "Everyone knows who she is. It's going to be exciting."

Wallace said since word first went out that Thomas was looking for a fan to perform with, she already has been receiving emails from hopefuls. He wanted to be sure everyone knows Thomas is not looking for the biggest penis or the most handsome man — he said she's looking for someone she can make a connection with.

"She's going to want to find someone that she feels is real genuine fan, and that doesn't mean some little poodle boy following her," Wallace said. "Sunset's banged the biggest and the best and no one's going to rock her world. I'm sorry; it's not going to happen. She may have a wonderful experience, and I doubt it'll come from some GQ type. It'll come from a real man."

Wallace also said that Thomas plans to have a girl/girl scene with fellow adult performer Mia Presley.

Wallace said Thomas is looking forward to continuing to branch out into other sectors of the industry that are still sex-related, but don't require performing. She has many ventures, with Vavoom and some TV and radio projects, he said.

"She can be sexy without having sex and still make a living," Wallace said.
