HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Actress Rose McGowan is reportedly considering the part of Linda Lovelace in a new mainstream film, "Inferno."
Actress Anna Feris recently dropped out of the project, calling it "too intense."
The film will be produced by Brian Grazer, whose company Imagine Entertainment was also involved in the 2005 documentary "Inside Deep Throat." Currently attached to the project are Bill Pullman as Hugh Hefner and Josh Lucas as Lovelace’s husband Chuck Traynor.
After leaving the adult industry, Lovelace became a vocal critic of it, authoring two books, "Ordeal" and "Out of Bondage," claiming she was forced to perform in adult movies. She died in 2002 from injuries sustained in a car crash.
