LA Direct Models Unveils Mobile Website

LOS ANGELES — LA Direct Models has unveiled a version of its website that is compatible with mobile devices.

Users can access the website simply by dialing up LADirectModels.com on mobile devices such as a Sidekick, a Palm or an iPhone.

LA Direct Web Developer Simon Says told XBIZ that demand from producers, directors and some talent spurred his company to develop the stripped-down version of the site.

"When producers or directors are on set, they can look up our site very quickly," he said, adding that industry professionals who have to make last-minute casting decisions don't always have access to a laptop.

Says explained that the mobile website includes most of the main functions of the primary LA Direct website, though he added that's he significantly pared down the site's bells and whistles so it would be compatible with more mobile devices.

LA Direct Models represents 128 female and 29 male performers in the adult industry, including contract stars for Vivid and Wicked. The agency recently joined forces with the Lee Network and Lisa Ann Talent Management to partner in a Los Angeles office that will focus on providing top adult talent to gentlemen's clubs worldwide.

The Lee Network, which has been representing talent for the gentlemen's club industry for 20 years, also has offices in Toronto and London.
