Naughty America Offers New iTunes-style Paysite

LOS ANGELES — Naughty America is building an iTunes for porn.

The adult production company is currently beta-testing a new paysite that offers scenes on a pay-as-you-go-basis. Instead of paying for a monthly subscription, consumers will buy full-length scenes for $1.99 each.

The iTunes comparison kicks in with the site's interface, which resembles Apple's signature media program. Users can navigate a wide selection of scenes taken from Naughty America's network of adult paysites.

The new site got the attention of vaunted mainstream blog TechCrunch.com. Tech analyst Jason Kincaid praised the site's easy navigation.

"Users of Apple’s iTunes store will be right at home with Naughty America Direct," he said. "Featured movies are shown as thumbnails on the front page, and users can navigate with a sidebar on the left side of the screen to access clips by their favorite performers or from their favorite website."

The Naughty America team built this new site on Adobe's Air, which lets developers create interactive web applications that work on multiple platforms. TechCrunch noted that Naughty America Direct is one of the first Adobe Air-powered sites that can handle secure credit card transactions.

The site is currently in beta-testing. To sign up, visit NaughtyAmericaDirect.com. TechCrunch is currently offering an invitation code, "techcrunch."
