In the wake of the death of actor and comedian Bernie Mac, stories have started to trickle out about the wild times he had on set with his colleagues.
Samuel L. Jackson, who stars with Mac in upcoming comedy "Soul Men revealed this week that Mac harbored a fantasy to be an adult star before he died.
Adult performer Vanessa Del Rio shared a scene with Mac in "Soul Men," as Mac's neighbor. In their scene, the two had casual sex.
Mac said he'd never forget it, according to Jackson.
“And I looked over and saw him and Bernie was like ‘How’s it going man?’ and he was like ‘panting!’ ‘She’s killing me man. She bounced up and down on me. She’s killing me,'" Jackson said. “Dude, this is like the fantasy of every kid that grew up in the ‘60s! In a bedroom with Vanessa del Rio? Tits bouncing in your face? It’s Vanessa del Rio."
Last year, Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher said that he might want to get into the adult industry, adult producer and director Jeff Mullen offered him a role in his upcoming spoof of "The Beverly Hillbillies."
The star of such hits as "Dude, Where's My Car?" and "The Butterfly Effect" caught the porn bug while working on his latest movie, the sex comedy "Spread," which follows a compulsive lothario as he sleeps around and tries to deal with a jilted lover.
Apparently the scenes for "Spread" were heated enough to inspire thoughts of a career change in Kutcher.
"I [made] a sort of, like, a porno-pseudo-comedy movie," he said. "So maybe I'll do some more porno."
Mullen, who directed "Not The Bradys XXX" and "Not Bewitched," would be only too happy to take him up on that offer.
"I want to go on public record … that I will offer Ashton Kutcher the sum of $1,000 to play the role of Jethro," Mullen said, adding that Kutcher's Iowa upbringing would serve him well as the Clampett's good-natured airhead.
"It wouldn't be much of a stretch," said Mullen, who said he ran into Kutcher a few years ago while shooting a movie and called him a "very nice guy."
Mullen added that X-Play has bought an old Model T truck, though the project isn't a priority for the company, which is still waiting for sales figures to come in for "Not Bewitched XXX."
Kutcher noted the success that some — admittedly rare — adult industry luminaries have had in both the adult and mainstream entertainment industries.
"It worked for Jenna Jameson," he said. "I was actually in London last week, and they knew who Ron Jeremy was. He's a famous porn star in London, as well."
Kutcher has yet to respond to Mullen's offer.
