The magazine will feature a new look and target bears as well as the gay mainstream. Its content will include erotic photography and provocative fiction.
The “revival” issue is free and is being distributed to bear and gay events and bookstores. There are 40,000 copies of this issue in circulation around the world.
Bear magazine was launched in 1987 and featured blue-collar fiction and black-and-white photos of working men and bikers.
Bear is supported by the new Bear video line, which features classic bear videos repackaged and released on DVD, as well as new movies such as “Cabin Fever.”
Bear will be published quarterly beginning in February.
