Mofo Launches Website With ThanXXXgiving Charity Bash

BELLFLOWER, Calif. — Clothing designer and adult-video director Jimmy Mofo will launch his new informational website Mofos-World with a ThanXXXgiving Charity Bash Nov. 12.

The party will be held at Dragonfly in Hollywood and will be hosted by DH of the Dead Kennedys. All of the money raised will be donated to My Friend's Place, a service center for homeless youth in Hollywood.

The announced columnists for the new Mofos-World site — Nikki Hunter, Craven Moorehead, Flower Tucci, Dominic, Tyler Faith, Mr. Marcus, Olivia O'Lovely, Lexi Love, Amber Peach, Mackenzie Pierce, Regan Reese, Luscious Lopez, April Storm, Corina Jayden and Mofo — are expected to attend the party.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Liquor sponsorship is still available, and interested parties should contact Jimmy Mofo by email. Product donations can be added to the raffle baskets that will be given away hourly. Checks made payable to "My Friend's Place" will also be accepted, and receipts will be issued on-site. Companies that donate will receive three months of promotion on the Mofos-World site.

"We want to raise as much money as possible, and the product donations will help us attract more people to show up to party and pay to get in," Mofo said. "We're doing this ourselves. No promoters."

The admission charge is $10 for adult industry professionals and $20 for non-industry. "Everyone, even guests, will pay — except guests who donate product or money," Mofo said. "All of the door sales will go to My Friend's Place and I will deliver a check and take a picture in front of the My Friend's Place offices."

Dragonfly is at 6510 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood. The party starts at 9 p.m.

The Mofo’s World website is scheduled to launch on Monday, Nov. 17, at 4:20 p.m. PST.
