Performer Sasha Grey Interviewed on G4

CYBERSPACE — High-profile adult performer Sasha Grey, who has been in the news lately for her mainstream appearances, was interviewed on cable news channel G4's "Attack of the Show!" on the subject of adult-mainstream crossover.

In the interview, Grey expressed skepticism that porn is accepted in mainstream, calling casting of adult performers in mainstream movies a way to get publicity.

"It's like the elephant in the room," Grey said of adult entertainment. "Nobody wants to talk about it. Everybody watches it."

Grey also expressed skepticism about adult-to-mainstream crossover, saying, "Once you're in adult, it doesn't matter if you've done hardcore or softcore, people are going to brand you as that."
