"I don't know what to make of it," Cummings told XBIZ. "Maybe they're feeling sorry for me because I'll be 69 on my next birthday and they'd better do it now before I kick the bucket."
Cummings was featured on local news station XETV in a story that mentions his military background (Cummings retired from the U.S. Army as a Lt. Colonel after 25 years of service) and his inadvertent entry into the adult business after a performer on an amateur shoot couldn't perform and Cummings was asked to step in.
"The next day I was in two amateur scenes and a month later I'm in 'The Devil And Ms. Jones Part Five' doing the thing with Juli Ashton," Cummings told the interviewer.
Cummings also appears on the nationally syndicated news magazine show "Inside Edition" in a story titled "America's Oldest Porn Star" on the episode scheduled to air today.
"Inside Edition" also showed excerpts of a scene Cummings did with performer Abbey Brooks.
