Royalty X Offering Performers Royalties

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Online studio Royalty X Films, which launched last month, is now offering royalty payments to performers starting with their newest release, "Tennis Ballin'," which goes on sale for download today.

"I hope that by giving performers a percentage of the movie's gross sales, it encourages not only the cast to promote it but also the fans to buy it," Royalty X co-owner Alana Evans said. "Anyone who purchases 'Tennis Ballin' ' is encouraging the idea of a new dawn in the industry where performers are rewarded and receive their dues."

Evans' husband and Royalty X co-owner Chris Evans agreed.

"I want people to know that we are advocates for the advancement of the adult industry into mainstream, and that we believe by offering the actors and actresses royalties, we are helping to legitimize the industry even more," he said.

"Tennis Ballin'," directed by Chris Evans, features Alana Evans, Alexis Amore, Sunny Lane, Jenaveve Jolie, Gianna Lynn, August, Lexi Lamour, Evan Stone, James Deen And Kris Slater. It is available for online viewing for $5.95 at the RoyaltyX.com website. The package also includes two bonus solo scenes featuring Nicki Hunter and Darryl Hanah, behind-the-scenes footage and a photo gallery. Purchasers get unlimited access to the package for one year from the date of purchase, and access can be renewed for $1 a year after that.

Alana Evans and Chris Evans are scheduled to discuss Royalty X and its royalty program on "Night Calls" on Playboy Radio today at 4 p.m. PST. Playboy Radio airs on channel 198 on Sirius satellite radio, and on the Internet through the Sirius website.
