“Twinks Finally 18, Vol. 1” streets Jan. 20. That also is Inauguration Day for President-elect Barack Obama.
“I chose Inauguration Day as a release date because I thought it was going to be a euphoric day worldwide,” studio president Peter Z. Pan said. “Now, after the Rick Warren betrayal, I wish I would have chosen Valentine’s Day instead.”
Warren is the pastor of the evangelical Christian Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif. He actively campaigned for the passage of the politically divisive Proposition 8 in California, which amends the state constitution to ban same-sex marriage.
Obama triggered a bitter protest when he invited Warren to deliver the high-profile invocation from the dais on Inauguration Day.
PZP will launch “Twinks Finally 18, Vol. 1” with a DVD release party on Jan. 23, at Johnny’s Bar in Fort Lauderdale. ID Lube will lend promotional muscle by providing product samples for giveaway prizes.
“Randy Phoenix will give a special performance both nights,” Pan said. “He will also be available for private shows. And rumor has it that some of the hot chorus boys from the national touring company of ‘Mamma Mia!’ might stop by for a peek.”
Pan canceled an erotic spoof on “Mamma Mia!” he’d planned to film earlier this year, citing economic pressures. In its place, he conceived the “Twinks Finally 18” line.
Wholesale-retail sales for PZP Productions are managed by Marina Pacific Distributors.
