Maleflixxx Starts a New 'Tribe'

TORONTO — Video-on-demand network Maleflixxx.tv has launched Maleflixxx Tribe, a social networking site that also serves as a gay adult portal offering news, clips, reviews and other features.

Erik Schannen is the founder and Chief Technology Officer of Maleflixxx parent company Sureflix Digital Distribution. "Maleflixxx Tribe is something we have wanted to offer dedicated porn users for a long time," he said. "This site provides members with access to some of the hottest content on the Internet, while also giving them the ability to interact with other users."

Maleflixxx Tribe currently offers gay adult industry updates and news feeds, clips, photos and columns penned by industry professionals such as Colt Studio Group principal John Rutherford.

A Beta version of Maleflixx Tribe has been operating for several months. Social networking features and blogging software for members will go live in the coming weeks.

Maleflixxx recently earned an XBIZ Awards nomination for GLBT Web Company of the Year, while Sureflix is in the running for VOD Company of the Year.
