Amore, also known as the “Peruvian Princess,” will be the central talent behind the company’s Ethnicity Films line, a continuation of its flagship Latin, African-American and interracial titles.
Scott Hoover, publicity director for Video Team, told XBiz that Amore will represent Video Team at press events, signings and meet-and-greet shows with fans.
With more than 300 films to her credit during her five-year career in the adult industry, Hoover said Amore has always been one of his personal favorites and is a perfect fit to represent the company.
“We were looking for somebody who could articulately represent the entire scope of our ethnically-oriented library,” Hoover said. “A lot of times with adult performers, they are great at doing what they do, but when they need to talk to someone and do an interview, they can’t handle it. We needed someone who could do more than just giggle and blow bubbles.”
Video Team President Christian Mann said he was thrilled to have Alexis on board, given her solid fan base and growing popularity in the Latin market.
“She has all the qualities we seek for the various tasks she will be performing for the company,” Mann said.
Amore recently concluded an acting and directing deal with Anabolic Video and prior to that worked as contract talent for Jill Kelly Productions, which is currently winding its way through bankruptcy proceedings.
Video Team announced plans recently to launch Fresh Films, its first Caucasian line to date that will feature what Hoover describes as many “new faces in the industry.”
Amore will most likely make an appearance in the new Fresh Films line as well.
