Stockroom Acquires Domme.com

LOS ANGELES — Stockroom.com has announced its acquisition of the Domme.com site and will convert it into a portal for the fetish, bondage and sexual role-playing communities.

“Domme.com is the leading directory for finding a dominatrix — or “domme,” as they’re often called — in any part of the world,” Stockroom.com President Mike Herman said. “Often, outsiders to the BDSM lifestyle misunderstand the kind of services professional dommes provide. While intercourse isn’t on the menu, a heavy dose of fantasy-fulfilling dramatics is. What a domme really offers is the ultimate live theatrical performance for an audience of one and Domme.com is the unequaled source for information on this lifestyle.”

In addition of to the U.S. and international directories, Domme.com also offers members a newsletter and links to specialized practioners.

“Domme.com is one of the premier web addresses for people interested in the BDSM lifestyle and we think it has great potential to become home to a carefully selected array of products, services, information and excitement,” Herman said. “We will soon announce details on our plans for the site that we believe will truly revolutionize the way online directories are approached and provide terrific benefits to webmasters and consumers alike.”

Stockroom.com recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Its other properties include BDSM educational/community site SandM.com and retail sites Syren.com and StormyLeather.com.

“Stockroom.com was a frontrunner at the time of the original e-commerce land rush,” Herman said. “Through our innovative marketing, organic growth, and acquisitions, we remain on the cutting edge of sexual technology in terms of both product design and services offered.”
