Porn Star Cocktails Night Returns to West Hollywood

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The weekly porn star meet-and-greet Cocktails with the Stars is set to return to Micky's nightclub in West Hollywood. The club has been under renovation ever since it was gutted in an August 2007 fire.

The Cocktails with the Stars event had been a fixture in the West Hollywood nightlife scene. Performers Will Clark, Johnny Rey and Grant Wood and promoter-publicist Jason Sechrest have hosted various incarnations over the years.

The most recent host, Scotty B., will return in that position when the club reopens April 16, at 6 p.m. He will trade off hosting the show with fellow promoter Angel Benton.

"Gay porn is such a huge industry now that there are literally events going on all over the world," Benton said. "Scotty and I have to stay on top of that. With two hosts, if one of us needs to be out of town attending an event, the other has the show covered. And if we're both in town, then the audience gets twice the fun."

"Throughout Cocktails’ history it has continually raised the bar on what a porn star show should be," Scotty B. said. "We incorporate the most in-demand porn stars with the wildest hosts — it's the hottest mess you’ll ever witness."

"I'm ecstatic that Micky's and Cocktails are returning. The wait has seemed forever,” he said. “I can't wait to start inviting studios and some of the new up-and-coming porn stars back."

The Micky's grand re-opening and future installments of Cocktails with the Stars will be streamed live on NickYoungXXX.com.

The April 16 show will feature a variety of guests. Performers Bobby Clark and Robert Van Damme will headline the April 23 and April 30 shows, respectively.
