TPF '09 Comes to a Sunny and Successful End

TEMPE, Ariz. – The 10th annual Phoenix Forum has come to a close after three days of seminars, networking and the kind of laid-back funfare the show is known for.

Day 1 started with panels and workshops discussing customer retention, affiliate marketing and creating/maintaining international brand recognition. Happy hour at Hooters kicked off the booze fest before the welcome reception began.

Day 2 brought attendees a special version of XBIZ Speed Networking followed by two tracks of seminars discussing appealing website design, emerging technologies and a special all-star panel that discussed adapting business practices to survive and thrive in the current economy.

Day 3 came to a close with Rick Latona's Domain Auction, which hocked domains including Tits.info, XXX.com with no reserve met, and Boned.com for $2,500, as well as professional services from companies such as 123Resourcing.com, Matrix Content and X2K.

Attendees enjoyed happy hours, Webmaster Dodgeball, free snack shack munchies and a slew of private thank-you dinners during each day of the show. But the most talked-about part of this year's TPF was how much business everyone made in-between events.

"Even though it was smaller than past years, it was an extremely productive show," Stockroom.com Business Development Representative Mario Moralez told XBIZ. "I met a lot of new people, one of the best of all."

Cybersocket Publisher Morgan Sommer told XBIZ that he felt The Phoenix Forum was the perfect combination of great people, weather and business opportunity.

"We met more new people than at any recent show, and could reconnect with older friends and clients, too, and not be overwhelmed by numbers," he said.

Burning Angel Producer Joanna Angel told XBIZ she also enjoyed the successful turnout.

"We just launched our new affiliate program, and the Phoenix Forum was the perfect place to promote it," she said. "I made a lot of amazing contacts and had a lot of fun. It's a show that truly makes you proud to be in the adult industry."
