Pipedream Launches New Website and 2006 Catalog

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Adult toy and novelty manufacturer Pipedream has revamped its flagship website, a move the company said is just part of an enterprise-wide effort to improve all aspects of its business for both customers and distributors.

The retooled website features a more powerful search engine that can locate products by description, item number or keywords. A faster database engine gives surfers and distributors direct access to more than 2,800 products.

The new site also offers benefits for affiliates and partners who promote Pipedream’s products, including one-click access to 300 dpi images suitable for print and online ads.

Pipedream has been creating pleasure products for more than 30 years, but COO Nick Orlandino said the company is making an effort to evolve and improve its entire operation by adding a new in-house art department, high-grade rubber manufacturing facilities and a full-service photo studio.

“I am very excited about how hard my entire staff has worked to bring my vision to reality,” Orlandino said. “This is going to be the best year in the history of Pipedream.”

The company also will be experimenting with more innovative product designs and packaging.

Pipedream is complementing the website with an over-sized (14” X 11”), 232-page spiral-bound book that includes tab dividers, a table of contents and index by item number and page number.

Both the catalog and website are designed to make it easy for distributors to find what they need fast, according to Orlandino.

Orlandino added that he anticipates more company advancements in the coming year.
