RockHard President of Sales Joshua Maurice told XBIZ that the Wounded Warrior Project is a charity that benefits wounded war veterans, and because several RockHard staff members have family in the armed forces, it was only natural to sponsor the event.
“This is an excellent opportunity for us, two-fold,” Maurice said. “The mansion is a great way to brand our lifestyle product and build it from that standpoint — we’re not putting money into print ads, we’re putting money into the experience that customers can share. Plus, it’s a great charity that we really believe in.”
The proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
“We are excited to take part in a terrific charity event at such a historically awesome venue,” RockHard President Trent Broers said. “We are more than happy to help raise awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project, and we couldn’t imagine a better place to host the party.”
Maurice also said RockHard Weekend has signed on to co-sponsor mainstream music star Kid Rock’s upcoming national tour, kicking off this summer.
