"This is indeed a historic partnership for Bel Ami, and the gay porn world in general," said Stuart Davis, the studio's chief operating officer. "Having two companies in compatible markets partner to create exclusive content shared between studios as well as benefits that are offered only to each other's members at this level and to this degree is unprecedented."
"This collaboration not only provides the opportunity to create highly unique and original content, but also adds tremendous value to the experience of our respective members and fans," said Brian Dunlap, CorbinFisher's COO.
The companies recently wrapped a month of production with location shoots in San Francisco, Prague and Budapest, Hungary. "Fans will see some of each company's most popular exclusive talent in the jointly produced material," a Bel Ami publicist said.
Jean Daniel Chagall, Sascha Chaykin, Luke Hamill, Dolph Lambert, Brandon Manilow and Ariel Vanean are among those initially representing for Bel Ami, while singly named performers Connor, Dawson, Elijah, Josh and Zeke have been drawn from CorbinFisher’s stable.
Scenes from "Five Americans in Prague" and other co-produced content will be released monthly to official websites BelAmiOnline.com and CorbinFisher.com. Among the shared content are erotic vignettes — termed "introductory episodes" — shot by one company to be streamed exclusively on the other's website, starting with today's release of scenes featuring Bel Ami's Luke Hamill with Alex Orioli, and CorbinFisher's Derek and Travis.
Additionally, on a weekly basis both companies will feature scenes drawn from each other's extensive back catalogs.
"Our fans are really set to reap the benefits of this collaboration, as it brings extra original, unique and exclusive content to both sites," Dunlap said.
"Bel Ami and CorbinFisher have found a solid partner in the adult space in one another," the Bel Ami rep told XBIZ. "We look forward to showing fans of both studios the incredibly hot content we shot while we were in production. I can assure you it will be like nothing you usually see online day-to-day, from the production values to the beauty and chemistry of these models. It's really something to see. We are certain fans will be very happy with the final product."
Bel Ami founder George Duroy and Corbin Fisher met for the first time in October 2008. "Brian Dunlap and I know each other from various industry events," Davis told XBIZ. "We thought it would be interesting if George and Corbin would get a chance to meet and have a chat."
The founders became acquainted and quickly realized "both companies have a lot in common," Davis said. For example, Bel Ami bills itself as "Europe's answer to the All-American boy," the kind of handsome, athletic young men seen on CorbinFisher.
"Over the course of a couple of days they got to know each other and saw that there was maybe some potential for collaboration," Davis said. "One thing led to another and this current project is the end result."
Recently Bel Ami earned several 2009 XBIZ Awards citations including GLBT Web Company and GLBT Studio of the Year, while CorbinFisher was also cited as GLBT Web Company of the Year.
