Under the terms of the agreement Direct DVD Platinum will produce between 16 and 20 titles a month for Barzoon Entertainment, starting with November releases. Each of the company’s DVDs will run two hours or longer.
"We're ecstatic to have Direct DVD Platinum on board," said Eric Gutterman, vice president of sales for Barzoon Entertainment. "I've seen some of the footage and the quality is top notch. This is great porn. The greatest thing about this line is that the quality runs straight through from beginning to end."
Gutterman described Direct DVD Platinum’s products as high-quality, hardcore gonzo in line with Red Light District, Zero Tolerance, 3rd Degree and Anabolic releases. He said there will be an emphasis on selling at a low price point.
Hollywood Fuck Factory focuses on fetish content. Xotica specializes in all-ethnic films, including interracial, black Latin and Asian. The Underground label features “extreme fetish” titles, and Vamp Pictures is geared toward fans of “top models” and MILF movies.
“Direct DVD Platinum is sparing no expense in delivering the best product at an affordable wholesale price,” Gutterman said. “All of the lines will feature [the industry’s] top starlets in high-quality, digital encoding.”
Gutterman added that each of the titles will contain bonus features and extras such as "Cumshotz" and "Hot Shotz" sections.
Barzoon plans to begin shipping the first four Hollywood Fuck Factory releases during the first week of November. In subsequent weeks, the company will ship four new releases each from Xotica, then Underground and finally, Vamp.
