Elevated X CMS Offers Smarty Templates

LOS ANGELES — Adult content management system (CMS) provider Elevated X has announced the addition of Smarty templates to its program.

"In response to customer feedback we've reworked our templates entirely to make use of the industry standard Smarty template engine," said a company spokesperson. "As a result, now customizing designs is far easier."

According to the company, Smarty is a logical choice as it is the industry's most widely used template engine; used on software such as NATS and many others.

"What this means for our user is that you have a template system that most of the designers in the business are familiar with," the spokesperson continued. "It also means that any designer or coder who offers NATS skins or skins for other programs will now be able to provide skins and template work for the Elevated X CMS."

Elevated X offers users a choice of template languages, including its original code-based XSL/XHTML templates or the new Smarty templates.

"The best part is that all the great automation, interactive features and functionality of our system are still present in the Smarty version so users gain ease of use without sacrificing power," the spokesperson concluded.
