TheBestPorn.com Upgrades Reviews and Webmaster Admin

LOS ANGELES — Adult website review portal TheBestPorn.com (TBP) has announced the release of a series of upgrades to its reviews and webmaster admin area.

Describing the move as a significant upgrade of its review structure, TBP Vice President of Marketing, Vegas Ken, told XBIZ that the new system, known as Review 2.0, will provide enhanced information to the site's users as well as improve the traffic to its affiliate partners and be composed of six daily updates.

"Reviews will be more detailed, [with] more time spent on the site, more detailed site specs, in-depth pros/cons, etc.," Vegas Ken said. "Every site gets a full review. No more express reviews."

Vegas Ken went on to say that TBP's review sub-scores have been replaced by a "Grades" section, which will put a letter grade to various site features but will have no impact on the overall score.

Review 2.0 goes beyond providing increased details about the sites being reviewed to include a complete redesign of the review page to provide a cleaner and more attractive presentation.

Sites in need of a re-review will be assigned a new editor who will write a fresh review, with the previous review being archived; and sites with a score of 85 or higher will get a guaranteed new review every 12 months — a move which Vegas Ken said will focus the maximum amount of attention on the top ranking sites.

Fan support also now plays a role in the review process.

"Our new nomination feature allows users to nominate the sites they'd like to see reviewed," Vegas Ken offered. "When a site reaches a certain number of nominations, it gets flagged for review."

Review time has also been decreased, with the waiting list being cut from two months to two weeks from request to release. Webmasters can request reviews every four months (for sites scoring 85 or above) or every 6 months (for sites below 85) and communicate directly with the assigned reviewer before and after the review is completed in order to add notes to the reviewer, ask questions, or submit errors.

Webmasters Get More Control
TBP's latest upgrades targeted more than the needs of surfers, however, and encompassed a range of enhancements for webmasters submitting their sites for review.

A streamlined new webmaster signup process provides increased control of sites at both TheBestPorn.com and PornUsers.com; while the member pass management system has been improved as has been the availability and range of status reports and review staff communication tools and more.

A new support ticket system guarantees quick responses while permission levels allow for increased security when letting staff help maintain your reviews, listings, and passes.

"We have significantly expanded our webmaster admin area to allow affiliate programs to better manage and control their sites listed with us," Vegas Ken concluded. "We have re-built our webmaster control panel from the ground up. You can maintain your sites and its reviews like never before."
