Stockroom.com Breaks New Music From Rocker Lita Ford

LOS ANGELES — Heavy metal rocker Lita Ford has released a single from her upcoming album exclusively on Stockroom.com. The single, “Bed,” explores themes of bondage, kink and power exchange.

It’s believed to be the first time a song has been pre-released on a website that caters to the fetish lifestyle.

Ford initially achieved fame at 17 as the guitarist for the all-girl band The Runaways with Joan Jett and then went on to a successful solo career. She is one of the most recognizable female faces in heavy metal music. Her most famous song, "Close My Eyes Forever," was a duet with Ozzy Osbourne whose wife, Sharon, managed Ford for a time.

Ford is married to ex-Nitro vocalist Jim Gillette and admits to a kinky lifestyle in the bedroom — including being a fan of Stockroom.com products.

“My husband Jim Gillette and I have carved out our own path to develop a wonderful and close family life,” Ford said. “Though we're a long-married couple, we both have very active imaginations, including being kinky with each other, and that's what this album is about. It's sort of a sexual autobiography. We've partnered up with Stockroom.com because it's our favorite outfitter for kink products."

Stockroom.com also is offering Lita's Collection, special selection of some fetish gear that Ford has selected as her favorites along with her personal picks from the company’s Syren Latex fashions.

The first 100 customers to place orders on Stockroom.com using the code “LITA” upon checkout will receive a free copy of Ford’s upcoming CD as well as an additional 10 percent off their entire offer. The discount lasts until Dec. 31.

Ford’s album, “Wicked Wonderland,” releases Oct. 6, from JLRG Entertainment, a record label owned by the couple. Ford and Gilette are touring with Queensryche in October and November.
