Playboy, VS Media Partner on Live Chat

CALABASAS, Calif. – VS Media, parent company of Video Secrets, has taken its live video chat technology to the next level and partnered with Playboy Enterprises to launch PlayboyLive.com.

The new agreement enables users to access private and public Playboy-branded live chat sessions 24/7. VS Media will provide Playboy with its on-demand billing solution in addition to its live streaming services.

The deal with VS Media marks Playboy’s first foray into the live video chat business.

“Our goal is to provide quality products and services to the Internet community, and we believe that PlayboyLive.com will do just that,” Mike Sprouse, senior vice president of marketing for Playboy Enterprises, said. “It will offer a unique and compelling user experience and will allow us to provide another quality product for webmasters to promote.”

PlayboyLive also will feature model bios, feature shows, VIP access and live chats with Playboy Cyber Girls.

“From the Centerfolds, to the logo, to [Huge] Hefner’s smoking jacket, Playboy is an American institution,” Greg Clayman, president of VS Media, said. “We're pleased to work with Playboy on this project and believe that together we can continue to create entertaining new experiences for web users.”
