Global Accés Opens U.S. Offices

TAMPA, Fla. — Alternative billing solutions provider Global Accés S.L. has opened its first U.S. office as a result of growing demand of its services.

Company CEO Morten Due said that U.S. companies are realizing they are missing an abundance of foreign traffic by offering credit cards as the sole payment option, and in order to stay competitive, they must provide as many options as possible to convert traffic.

“More and more U.S. companies are realizing they are sitting on a gold mine of foreign traffic, with credit cards not being able to convert it all,” Due said. “They are also realizing that SMS is something they need to offer to monetize what they already have.”

Due said having a U.S. branch to his operation means international time zone differences will no longer affect business transactions and customer communication.

He also jokes he looks forward to being able to wear shorts in the winter.

Headquartered in Andorra, Global Accés has offered companies around the world anonymous SMS, phone and direct debit billing platforms since 2004.
