AshleyMadison.com Offers Tiger Woods $5M

LOS ANGELES — The dating website AshleyMadison.com isn't the most traditional adult site, but it's taking its cues from the likes of Hustler and X-Play.

AshleyMadison.com offers standard online dating services for people who want to cheat on their spouses or significant others. In the wake of pro golf star Tiger Woods public meltdown and rift with his wife, the site has offered the sportsman $5 million to become their chief spokesperson.

The headline-grabbing tactic echoes the strategy of such prominent adult companies as X-Play and Hustler. X-Play's Jeff Mullen offered star Ashton Kutcher $1,000 to star in a "Beverly Hillbillies" spoof, while Hustler offered Miss California USA $500,000 to go hardcore.

In addition, longtime adult director Cezar Capone offered former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin $2 million to appear in an adult title. Her refusal simply prompted Hustler to contiue adding episodes to its popular "Who's Nailin' Paylin?" series, which stars Lisa Ann as the GOP figurehead.

According to multiple, conflicting online reports, Woods, who is married to Elin Nordegren, has conducted extramarital affairs behind her back with two or three women, including Rachel Uchitel, Jaimee Grubbs and Kalika Moquin.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Woods left his Orlando, Fla., home in a hurry and crashed his SUV into a fire hydrant in front of his own house. His wife was discovered outside his car holding a golf club, while a dazed Woods was found on the ground with facial lacerations.

Woods has since publicly admitted to an unspecified number of "transgressions."
