XBIZ Receives Record 2,365 Award Nomination Submissions

LOS ANGELES — At the close of the pre-nomination period for the 2010 XBIZ Awards, XBIZ counted a record-setting 2,365 submissions from businesses and professionals vying for recognition at the industry’s biggest business awards show.

The official nominee list will be announced on Dec. 16.

Nomination submissions for the Web & Tech categories for the eighth annual XBIZ Awards was restricted to members of XBIZ.net, the industry’s B2B social network.

This year, the XBIZ Awards are divided into three main categories: Web & Tech, Movies & Production and Novelty & Retail. In addition, awards will be given out in a series of Special Recognition categories.

The annual XBIZ Awards are a symbol of excellence dedicated to honoring the most influential companies and performers that play an essential role in the growth and popularity of adult entertainment around the globe.

The ceremony will be held in conjunction with the XBIZ LA 2010 Conference, Feb. 9-11 at the Sofitel Hotel in Hollywood, Calif.
