RealTouch Media Blitz Continues Into Holiday Season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — AEBN’s RealTouch has been getting some big attention in the past month, with one of the industry’s hottest performers helping to get the word out.

The RealTouch system combines a proprietary haptic device with specially encoded video that features numerous adult stars like Lisa Ann, who recently signed on to promote it.

RealTouch works in real time with action in the endoded videos, delivering warmth, moistness and relative motion of a sexual encounter.

Ann, who stars in Hustler Video's "Who's Nailin' Paylin?", presented Howard Stern on his Sirius/XM show with his own RealTouch as an early Christmas present. He graciously accepted the gift, telling listeners, “I’d stick my penis in there. I’m gonna take this home.”

TMZ and other paparazzi later met Ann outside of Rick’s Cabaret, where she and RealTouch received media attention in the gossip columns of the New York Post and Daily News.

Ann also made appearances on Maxim Radio’s “Covino & Rich Show” and the “Derek & Romaine Show” on Sirius Radio’s Q109 channel.

In print, Hustler included RealTouch in the magazine’s Holiday Issue Gift Guide. Hustler called it the “future of sex, while Unzipped magazine said, “the RealTouch could make the act of simply jerking in front of your computer obsolete.”

RealTouch spokesman Steve Goldberg told XBIZ there’s been great media, and thus consumer, interest in the device that takes video-on-demand to an experiential level.

“[AEBN] CEO Scott Coffman likens it to trying to steal a roller coaster when he says, ‘You can pirate the video but you can’t pirate the experience,’ ” Goldberg said.

Goldberg noted that after online sites Fleshbot and Gizmodo reviewed it prior to Thanksgiving and the Black Friday shopping frenzy, traffic on the RealTouch.com site reached an all-time high.
