Ashlynn Brooke Makes Directing Debut

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — New Sensations contract star Ashlynn Brooke has made her directing debut with the release of “Ashlynn Brooke’s Lesbian Fantasies” on the company’s Digital Sin label.

Each scene in the video takes the viewer through a series of Brooke’s deepest lesbian desires, which she narrates. Brooke appears in four of the DVD’s five scenes and in a bonus scene with Jenna Haze.

“I feel that it’s the perfect time to begin this phase of my career,” Brooke told XBIZ. “To this point, I’ve done a lot of boy/girl and wanted to do more girls, so this was a great opportunity. The transition to directing was inevitable and something I wanted to do for a long time. Now, my comfort level is there.”

For Brooke, her time in front of the camera helped up her confidence level and gave her enough experience to know how to pull a production together. In addition to directing, she chose the cast, selected the outfits and picked each scene’s “fetish.”

“It definitely helped being a performer,” Brooke said. “I’m glad I took the time to become a more seasoned performer to learn some of the more technical aspects of being behind the camera. I know what looks sexy and what I want to come across to the viewer, so it was easy to convey my vision to the crew and stars.”

Brooke described her biggest challenge as being an authority figure on set.

“It’s definitely a unique transition from being directed to directing someone else,” she said. “I got my feet wet with calling the shots on this first shoot and now I have the confidence to do it again. It’s not something you can really prepare for; you just have to be thrown into the fire and delegate responsibilities while being very clear about what you want and expect.”

The movie also features a number of girls-only performers to keep the action authentic and as real as possible, Brooke said.

“Ashlynn Brooke’s Lesbian Fantasies” features Yurizan Beltran, Tori Black, Alyssa Reece, Franziska Facella, Jesse Capelli, Mason Moore and Brooke.
