XBIZ LA Announces CommerceGate Welcome Reception

LOS ANGELES — Following XBIZ LA’s first day of standard-setting seminars, technology demos and networking, attendees will have a chance to unwind at CommerceGate’s Welcome Reception at the Stone Rose Lounge inside the Sofitel Hotel.

From 5-7 p.m. on Feb. 9, XBIZ LA attendees will converge onto the posh lounge and outdoor patio, located just off the lobby of the Sofitel, for an ambiance of style and sophistication sponsored by Internet payment processor CommerceGate.

“CommerceGate is proud to sponsor the welcome reception at the XBIZ LA show this year,” CommerceGate CEO Bjorn Skarlen said. “We are looking forward to making sure all participants feel welcome and geared up for the show. As an international billing provider with offices in Los Angeles, this is the perfect opportunity for us to meet with clients and potential customers. XBIZ has always given real value to their attendees with interesting seminars and great networking opportunities, and we are so happy to be sponsoring the welcome reception as a great way to kickoff what is sure to be a successful show!”

Day one of XBIZ LA, the industry’s leading digital media trade event, will feature seminars and symposiums addressing current and emerging market trends, technologies and businesses. The day’s events include a demo on sex device RealTouch and the FSC’s Anti-Piracy Panel, among others.

CommerceGate’s Welcome Reception precedes the Porn Poker Tour, in which participants compete in Texas Hold’em and blackjack for cash prizes.

XBIZ LA runs Feb. 9-11 and offers a wide slate of informational and networking sessions. Access to exclusive special events, including The Players Ball and the highly anticipated XBIZ Awards, is restricted to registered XBIZ LA attendees.
