Stockroom to Serve Up ‘Lethal Injections’ at XBIZ Awards

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ Awards attendees at the famed Avalon Hollywood can get a "lethal injection" from Syren latex-clad naughty nurses armed with Lube Shooters from Stockroom, the world's leading manufacturer and retailer of fetish gear and fashion.

The Lube Shooters — a refillable hypodermic-like device that injects personal lubricant into hard-to-reach places — will be loaded with a special cocktail prepared at a Stockroom-sponsored bar in the lobby of the Avalon.

The bar's theme celebrates Stockroom Inc.'s new exclusive master distributorship of the Lube Shooter, a perennial bestseller on the on the adult novelty market. The item is the latest offering from The Stockroom’s Kinklab line for bondage beginners, sold in mainstream stores and sites worldwide.

The rubber nurses are just one of the sights that awards show guests can expect to experience at The Stockroom's bar, the company said.

"We're aiming to create a playful and interactive fetish experience for people attending this great show, one that's fun for anyone no matter how kinky they are," said Ann Marie Holman, brand manager for The Stockroom. "They'll be waited on by models bound to silver serving trays, which will only add more excitement to the evening. We think everyone will have a great time."

Stockroom also signed on as one of the sponsors of the 2010 XBIZ Awards, taking place Feb. 10.

The Stockroom has been nominated for four top honors in this year's XBIZ Awards: Web Retailer of the Year — which the company won last year for its main retail site, Stockroom.com — the BSDM giant also is in the running for Toy Manufacturer of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year and Retailer of the Year.

The annual XBIZ Awards signify excellence among the companies and performers that play an essential role in the growth and popularity of adult entertainment around the globe. The show coincides with XBIZ LA Conference, a three-day business-to-business trade event that explores the latest market trends and uncovers technology's impact on the multi-billion dollar adult entertainment industry.
