“Alice” is a re-imagining of the classic tale of “Alice in Wonderland” directed by Erica McLean and Carlos Batts.
Featuring Sunny Lane as Alice, the movie illustrates her adventure in Wonderland as she and her friends try to gain access to “The Hole” — Wonderland’s most popular night club. Along the way Alice is met by many of the classic characters including The Mad Hatter (played by Evan Stone), The Queen of Hearts (April Flores), The White Rabbit (Andy Dimas), The Mouse (Katie St. Ives), The Caterpillar (Otto Bauer), Dweedle Dum (Aiden Starr) and others.
The movie’s release comes on the heels of the Tim Burton release of his big-budget 3-D blockbuster of the same name — starring Johnny Depp.
Batts and McClean also directed a promotional music video for “Alice” featuring Baltimore rappers Dirt& Bank. The uncut music video titled “Yeah I” features appearances by Lane along with scenes from the movie.
The video is available at Alice-2010.com along with more information on the release to be added soon, the company said.
