NEW ORLEANS — Porn star Stormy Daniels plans to announce April 15, which is also tax day, whether she will run for the U.S. Senate seat held by David Vitter.
According to Wdam.com, her political spokesman, Brian Welsh said in an email that Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, believes the timing will highlight the need for tax reform.
Since the formation of a Senate Exploratory Committee last May, there has been very little activity on the campaign front.
Some of Daniels’ fans began a movement to draft the star into running against Republican Senator David Vitter after he was involved in a sex scandal.
