Digital Playground Announces iPad Upgrade for Online Store

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Digital Playground announced upgrades to its online store site today to accommodate Apple’s iPad.

According to the company, version 2.0 of DigitalPlaygroundStore now features substantial upgrades to the software and streaming servers to allow iPad delivery.

The iPad is due to hit stores' shelves this Saturday.

iPad users can now shop, purchase, and view movies instantly without any changes or installs to their iPad. The site’s VOD service contains Digital Playground’s entire movie catalog.

Digital Playground users who purchase an iPad will experience seamless integration between the desktop, laptop, iPhone, iPod and iPad.

Joone, Founder of Digital Playground said, “We were prepared for the iPad release. Our new 2.0 system can handle any technology we want to throw at it. The iPad is just an example of how virtually agile and adaptable our company is to new technology.”

The site now allows consumers to view all trailers, and for a limited time to watch the behind the scenes of any movie for free. All movies and interactivity have been optimized for use on each device, including true high definition streaming.

Digital Playground said consumers can download to own for the iPod, iPhone, iPad and iTunes and VOD streams to iPad, iPhone and iPods.

“One of my favorite features is that the experience is optimized for any method of navigation whether it be fingertips, stylus or mouse. Our enhanced store 2.0 is iPad compliant directly out of the box. There is no need for installation of any applications. The ease of use is brilliant and I’m proud that Digital Playground is the first adult company to respond to this new technology,” said Sam Lewis, CEO of Digital Playground.
