RockHard Combating Counterfeiters

ATLANTA — RockHard Laboratories says it is taking action against several companies in China and the U.S. to stop the importation, distribution and sale of counterfeit products and the unauthorized use of RockHard Laboratories trademarks.

RockHard Laboratories says it has been working closely with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Marshal’s office and the Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Criminal Investigations along with legal advisors in the U.S. and Asia to combat counterfeiters.

The company has issued cease and desist letters to all of the companies known to be manufacturing or selling the counterfeit RockHard Weekend products. A claim also has been filed with Alibaba.com, the owner and operator of a website where the foreign counterfeiters are allegedly attempting to sell their products.

“RockHard Laboratories has invested substantial time and resources to gain its reputation for high quality, effective products, and it will continue to make the investments necessary to protect that reputation and goodwill,” the company said.

The company says counterfeit RockHard Weekend products can be identified in several ways:

  • The counterfeit RockHard Weekend pill color is a muted, light green, which differs significantly from the dark charcoal gray color of the authentic product.
  • The lot numbers are printed rather than stamped on the labels
  • Warning font is bigger and different on the counterfeit RockHard Weekend bottles
  • Counterfeit directions are in regular font, not in bold like the true RockHard Weekend.
